Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes! Wentworth by the Sea Hotel will have available parking for our guests as well as handicap accessible spots for those who require it.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Our venue, Wentworth by the Sea Hotel, has many available rooms for guests wishing to stay on-site! For guests looking for more budget friendly lodging, Portsmouth offers a variety of hotels just minutes away. Please see the "Travel" tab for more information. *We recommend reserving your rooms as soon as possible, as hotels in this area can fill up in advance.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our evening ceremony begins at 5:30 pm. We suggest arriving to the hotel no later than 5:00 to give adequate time to check in, make your way to the gardens, and get comfortable.

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outside in the gardens. We will then move inside the hotel for the cocktail hour and reception. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held inside.

Is there a dress code?

Formal or Black-tie optional. Don't forget your dancing shoes!

Are kids welcome?

Although we adore your children, we are not able to accommodate them at our wedding. We hope you understand!

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate guests not indicated on your invitation. Rest assured that you will be seated with people you know!
