we're getting married

Cameron introduced himself in a Dairy Queen booth after Claire's soccer game, wearing a ski jacket and beanie. Claire thought he was a total ski bum and was kinda into it. After weeks of movie nights and ice cream dates, Cameron hosted his first (and only) house party when his parents were away (oopsie!). It was then that they shared their first kiss and the rest is history.

Claire and Cameron parted ways to get those degrees! Cameron attended Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls and Claire attended the University of Washington in Seattle. They stayed close through facetime dinner dates, summers in their home town, countless road trips, and living with each other during the pandemic.

After five whole years of long distance, Cameron and Claire (and Koda the dog) reunited in West Seattle! Now between Claire's clinical rotations, they have prioritized never missing an episode of Survivor, homemade vodka pasta, and the occasional cribbage/banana-gram date night on Alki beach.

They say that good things come to those who wait! Cameron asked Claire to marry him on a beautifully sunny day in July. They went for a beach picnic on the water and Cameron got down on one knee with the ring he had helped make for her from scratch. Claire screamed and said yes and they both basically passed out from excitement. They spent the rest of the day celebrating with friends and the rest of each day since looking forward to their next chapter!
