Washington National Cathedral

The Cathedral and surrounding gardens is one of the Cundiff family’s favorite places in DC - often the location of the Annual Cundiff Family Christmas Card Photo. Insider tip: While sightseeing requires an admission fee, attending for a worship service is free.

Library of Congress

The Library of Congress is one of the most beautiful public buildings in DC, in particular, the gorgeous Main Reading Room. Claire’s father Morgan retired in July from a 32 year career at LOC. Father of the Bride’s recommendation: “The crown jewel of DC!”

The opulent mansion of Marjorie Merriweather Post, now a museum of Russian imperial art with gorgeous ever-changing gardens. Mother of the Bride’s recommendation: “A must for anyone who loves history, decorative art, and beautiful gardens. One of my favorite places to take visitors!”
