Santi and Claire met at Appalachian State University in 2017. They became close friends throughout their years at school, until Claire's senior year at ASU. The two began spending more time with one another; their most pivotal bonding moments included their Sunday grocery store runs every week. They were slowly becoming life partners. The two officially began dating in December of 2020. Once Claire graduated from App, the two stayed in Boone to pursue their dream careers- Claire's being a middle school English teacher, and Santi's goal of being a Chick-fil-A owner/operator. 3.5 years later, Santi planned a date day for Claire that ended up having a very special twist- he had proposed! Santi and Claire celebrated their engagement with close friends and had a joyous time. They are most excited about starting their marriage and next chapter of life, which is full of traveling and new professional opportunities!
