What is the dress code?

Our wedding dress code is formal. For women, this means a long evening gown, and for men, a suit and tie are appropriate. Please refrain from wearing white, tan, pale yellow or any light color that may be similar to white.

Our wedding colors are various shades of pink—from soft ballet pink and blush to deeper tones like dusty rose, magenta, raspberry, and bordeaux, with rose gold accents throughout. It's a palette we're truly excited to bring to life on our special day!

While we adore your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding celebration an adults-only occasion. We hope you’ll take the opportunity to enjoy a night out, celebrate with us, and dance the night away! Oh, and eat some good food!

Is this an inside or outside wedding?
Answer
All events will be outside within the gates of The Grand Hotel. The Grand’s outdoor areas feature a mix of brick-paved walkways, landscaped paths, lawn and waterfront walking areas. Guests should expect some uneven surfaces typical of the historic property, so comfortable footwear is encouraged. In the event of rain, we'll move the celebration indoors. The ceremony will take place in the Lagoon Room located on the second floor of the main building, while the reception will be held in the Azalea Ballroom. Signage throughout the venue will guide you to each location.

One of our favorite parts of any wedding is the food, and we're thrilled to share an exceptional dining experience with you. The talented chefs at The Grand Hotel have curated an amazing assortment of dishes for our guests to enjoy. Dinner will be served buffet-style, offering an all-you-can-eat experience.

Absolutely! We're thrilled to share that cake will be a highlight of our reception. We'll have both a groom's cake and a bride's cake, and we've taken care to include a nut-free layer on the bride's cake for our guests with nut allergies.

Is there parking at The Grand Hotel?
Answer
VALET PARKING The overnight valet parking fee for hotel guests is $32.00 per night ($20 for Bonvoy Elite Members). The Grand also offers a premium valet option for those wanting to keep their car close to the Main Building and Conference Center for $50 per night (no discounts apply). Day valet for guests attending events is $20 per day. Valet parking for those dining in our restaurants is complimentary excluding holidays and surrounding dates. SELF PARKING Located within the gates as well as at the entrance to our Lakewood Golf Club, the overnight self-parking fee is included in our resort fee and includes full in and out privileges. VISITOR PARKING For guests attending events, meetings or social gathers, but, not staying overnight, valet parking is available for $20 each time you utilize this service.
