Travel Note
Houston is a car-centric city with limited public transportation. While there are light rail and bus services, public transportation is not very timely or convenient. Renting a car or utilizing ride share services (Uber or Lyft) are convenient ways to get around the city. There are also many attractions in walking distance of Hotel Zaza, if weather allows.
Hotel
We have a block of rooms reserved at Hotel Zaza, which is the location of our cocktail hour and dinner reception. Hotel Zaza offers a complimentary shuttle service for its guests in their iconic Longhorn SUVs within a 3-mile radius of the hotel. This is a great way to get to nearby museums, parks, restaurants, and other amenities during your stay. On the day of our wedding, we will provide transportation from Zaza to the church for the ceremony and then back to Zaza for the reception. We've also arranged a group discount rate with the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel as an alternative accommodation option. Please click "View" below to make a reservation with our group discount. Their self-parking rate is $20/night. We have arranged transportation for guests from Hotel Zaza to the church for our ceremony and back to Hotel Zaza for our reception. The DoubleTree Hilton Hotel is located in the Medical Center right off the MetroRail and is a 15-min light rail ride from Hotel Zaza.
