Travel
If flying in, we recommend flying in to San Diego. There will be some lodging available the night of the wedding at the venue and at our home, but space is very limited, so please contact us if you are interested. Otherwise, there are some reasonably priced hotels (some are highlighted below, but there are a bunch of Bed and Breakfasts in the area).
If driving (i.e. you are a local), take I-15 north to the Highway 76 exit (exit 46) towards Pala/Oceanside/Bonsall/Palomar Mount. Head east on 76 until you reach the Pala Casino Spa and Resort. Please park there. There will be a shuttle service available from 2-3 pm to take you up the mountain to the venue and then from 7:30 to 9:30 pm to take you back.
If you do want to drive all the way, please be aware the road leading up to the venue is narrow, windy, and can be difficult to drive (especially in the dark on the way down). Parking is available, but travel at your own risk.

The shuttle will run from here on the day of the ceremony. They also have rooms and gambling and whatnot. This is the hotel that is probably closest to the venue, but rooms here are more expensive. As of the time of this writing, a kind bed room around the time of the wedding runs about $329/night.

This hotel would be my recommendation. It's a little more expensive than the Quality Inn, but less so than the Pala Casino. It's close to our house, about 20 minutes from the venue.
