Is there a dress code?

Yes, formal attire is requested. We encourage guests to wear cocktail dresses, evening gowns, and suits to honor the significance of the day.

Are kids invited?

While we truly love all of your children so much, due to planning and space limitations, this celebration will be reserved for adult guests only. Please note that only those invited are listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating together.

When will the group photographs take place, and who is asked to stay for them?

Answer

We request that all family members and community group members remain at the church after the ceremony for group photographs before proceeding to the reception.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony Parking: Street parking is available; please plan to arrive 30 to 45 minutes early to allow time for parking and walking to the church. Additional paid parking is available at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, located across the street. Reception Parking: We are grateful to share that parking is available at Redeemer. Please allow approximately 15 minutes to drive from the ceremony location, noting that the most direct route includes toll roads.

Can I take photographs?

Answer

We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photographs during the ceremony to allow everyone to fully experience and be present for this special moment. A professional photographer will be capturing the event. During the reception, we warmly encourage you to take photos and videos and share them with us, so we can all cherish the joyful memories of the evening.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

This will be a dry wedding; no alcohol will be served. We request that guests do not bring any alcoholic beverages in order to honor the agreements we have with our venue and insurance provider. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to a joyful celebration.
