Fly into Mexico City (MEX)
Mexico City International Airport, also known as Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX), is the largest and most convenient airport to fly into. When departing, I recommend arriving at least 2.5 to 3 hours before your flight, as the lines for bag drop and security can be slow.

Getting Around
To/From the Airport: Uber: We primarily use Uber for transportation in Mexico City. It’s convenient, safe, and affordable. In Terminal 1, pick-ups are usually outside gate 4, and in Terminal 2, outside gate 2. Always confirm the pick-up location in the app, as it can change. Expect to pay around 200 pesos (about $10) for a ride to central neighborhoods like Roma Norte or Condesa, and budget 20-40 minutes depending on traffic. During the Week: If you’re staying in Roma Norte or Condesa, most places will be walkable. For longer trips, Uber is very affordable. Pro Tip: Plan extra time if you’re traveling across the city during rush hour.

AirBnB
For our previous trips to Mexico City, we’ve always used Airbnb. It’s affordable, and the places are great. When booking: Not all rentals have AC. The weather should be in the 70s, but if AC is important to you, double-check before booking. The wedding is at Sobremesa in Roma Norte.
