This event is informal. Just a gathering of any guests on the grass area near the large block of rooms. Beverages and snacks provided, along with horseshoes, corn hole, and some nice lounging areas. Completely casual attire.
We will leave from there for anyone who is involved in the wedding rehearsal. Anyone who is staying at gathering location, enjoy your time. The Ranch and surrounding areas in Solvang and Santa Ynez have a lot of activities and things to see!! Check out our Activities section for more ideas.

Wedding Arrival for Departure to Ceremony
2:00 pm - 2:45 pm

Formal. Ceremony location can be dusty, and is not perfectly smooth walk. Plan accordingly for shoes and attire. Small chance of rain and cooler weather so bring warm clothing!
Please note that there is no parking at Alisal for guests not staying on site and no street parking available anywhere nearby. For guests who are staying offsite, a shuttle service will pick up from 1745 Mission Drive in Solvang where you may park your cars and be transported onsite. At the end of the evening the shuttle service will run continually throughout the night to transport you back to your car beginning at 7:30pm. Shuttle locations and pick up times are as follows: 2:00pm Shuttles arrive at Veterans Memorial Parking 2:10pm Shuttles depart for Alisal 2:30pm Guests arrive at Alisal Ranch There will be light refreshments at the shuttle drop off location at Alisal before you board The Ranch transportation to the ceremony location at 2:45pm SHARP.
Sycamore Grove Wedding Ceremony

Formal event. All guests will board the transportation provided by Alisal by 2:45pm to be shuttled to the private ceremony location in the Sycamore Grove. For those with young children we will have an area where you can be with them if you are concerned about them being disruptive right next to the ceremony site. We welcome children at our wedding and understand that young kids may not sit quietly through the 20 min ceremony! Coloring and blankets will be provided to entertain.
Super Awesome Wedding Reception

Welcome to the Alisal Lakeside location. There will be drinks, dinner (AMAZING buffet Ranch style), dancing, and all the usual reception items...WITH a few surprises! Transportation back to the front of Alisal will be provided starting after dinner. Transportation from Alisal to pick-up/drop off areas in Solvang area will begin at 7:30p, and happen every 30 minutes (approximately), until the last shuttle leaves at 10p. Reminder - There is NO PARKING at the Ranch, unless you are a registered guest. Please let us know if there are any questions or special accommodations that you have.
