A Note on Guests

Answer

We’d love for you to bring your spouse or significant other. While we’re planning for an adult focused gathering, we understand that travel and close connections sometimes make kid free plans tricky, and we also recognize that some invited guests may be teens or young adults. To help with planning, we ask that attendance be limited to those included on the invitation and RSVP. If you have a special circumstance and need to ask about bringing a child whose name is not listed, please feel free to reach out.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We’d love for everyone to dress up and lean into the Summer Solstice vibe, think bright colors, flowy fabrics, and festive summer chic. Feel free to make it a special night! That said, it’s summer and could be warm, so choose something that feels celebratory and comfortable for an outdoor evening. Light fabrics, breathable styles, and shoes you can enjoy the night in are perfect. (Bare feet also welcome!)

As we look forward to celebrating our marriage with family and friends, we want to share that gifts are not expected or necessary. We are simply grateful to spend the evening together and appreciate your love and support more than anything.

Food and Drinks

Answer

Reception guests, come hungry. This portion of the evening includes a full meal, plus drinks. Think sit down and savor, not just snack and mingle. Soirée guests, you can expect plenty of hearty appetizers and drinks to enjoy throughout the night. While it is not a formal dinner, it is definitely more than just chips on a table. Grazing highly encouraged. We do plan to have drinks available and hope everyone feels comfortable enjoying what’s provided. That said, if you have a favorite beverage you’d like to bring along, you are more than welcome to do so. Please know there is absolutely no expectation either way.

Parking

Answer

Since we are hosting at our home, street parking is available throughout the neighborhood. We are expecting many guests, so we kindly ask everyone to be mindful of neighbors and local parking rules. We do have a good sized driveway, and guests are welcome to use it if space is available. If possible, carpooling with friends or family is appreciated.

Which parts of the celebration am I invited to?

Answer

Our celebration includes multiple portions of the evening. The schedule on this site reflects the full flow of the day, but RSVPs specify which portion(s) each guest is invited to attend. If you’re ever unsure, please reference your RSVP or feel free to reach out and ask.
