One of the best ice cream spots near our venue and our personal favorite! Try a tornado or grab a cone. They also have great quick bites, a nice outdoor seating area, and plenty of space for kids to run around.
Local breweries were a staple in our early dating years, and we love supporting local brewers. Juke’s Ale Works has some of the best—be sure to try the wings and a craft beer!
The local pottery studio where Claire fell in love with ceramics and learned to throw on the wheel. If you stop by, don’t be shy—it’s filled with some of the nicest people Elkhorn has to offer!
We went on our first date at DJ’s Dugout – Aksarben, right by the University of Nebraska Omaha campus. This location is even closer to our venue and is a great spot for good food and drinks—with a solid kids’ menu, too!
It’s where Mat practiced with the University of Nebraska Omaha golf team and has grown into one of our favorite local courses—full of great memories and lots of time spent together.
The Kiewit Luminarium is a fun, hands on science and discovery spot right in downtown Omaha that is great for kids and adults.
