Claire and Mark's journey began like every other modern love story - a swipe! An instant connection formed as they realized they had coworkers, patients, and a heart for helping others in common. Mark, a Nurse Practitioner at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and Claire, a Social Worker at the Neonatal Intensive Care unit at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, spent their first date at Tria exchanging stories and name-dropping potential references we could refer to at work the next day (everyone was a big fan of the idea of us being together). Some of Mark and Claire's favorite things to do together are spend time with family and friends, go to musicals (7 to date!), binge-watch limited series, and explore different cities. Some of the things Claire loves the most about Mark are his easy-going personality, creative sense of humor, and the friendships he has built with her friends. She admires his commitment to continued education, medical knowledge, and care for his family, friends, and teeny tiny patients. Some of the things Mark loves the most about Claire are her thoughtfulness and dedication towards her friends and family, and her willingness to put other people first. He loves her upbeat energy and incredible sense of humor. It didn't take long for Claire and Mark to realize that they never wanted to spend another day apart from each other.
