It all began in February 2019 on the soccer fields of San Diego State, where Claire and Lorenzo first met as teammates. After one game, Claire just so happened to leave her cleats in Lorenzo’s car. To this day, Lorenzo has never fully believed it was an accident. Still, it turned out to be a happy mistake! As their playful friendship turned into something more, Lorenzo asked Claire to a formal dance. On a double date shortly after, he nervously reached for her hand in a movie theater. This was his first move, and the start of many sweet memories to come! They made it official in May 2019 and quickly fell in love while navigating college life side by side. When Claire moved home for graduate school, they faced the challenge of long distance, but their bond only grew stronger. Two years later, they reunited and started their next chapter together—moving into their first apartment in San Diego with their beloved dog, Korra. In December 2024, Lorenzo proposed at the breathtaking Sunset Cliffs, marking the beginning of their forever. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their love with all their favorite people!
