It was a fateful night in the year 2009, Claire was a freshmen at Georgetown and Levi was studiously pursuing his 5th (victory lap) at Georgetown spinning around the campus on a Vespa scooter. Claire approached the dashing young man to ask if he could take her "drunk" roommate back towards their dorm room. Levi agreed, sandwiching her between himself and his sidekick Brandon Bonsey. Claire jogged along next to the scooter. The interaction started a common knowledge of each other, often saying hello at various track parties. Claire and her best friend, Katie Dunn, started referring to Levi as version 2.0 of Claire's past boyfriend and overcame their hatred for Georgetown by hanging out with the Georgetown runners. Time passed -Levi took the natural Georgetown post-grad route, living in a tent with his best man, Scott Bastek, for six months then moving to Jackson, Wyoming living in a trailer park. In a search for familiarity and opportunity, Levi moved back to Washington DC to start a job and ran into Claire at a hot yoga class. Levi secretly started to observe what classes Claire would attend, and made a point to ditch out of work early for the 4:30 PM class on days when he thought she'd be there. In a textbook move, Levi invited Claire out on their first date which was a dog walk with his dashing new puppy, Stella. Who could resist? Claire was under the impression Levi was still dating a different girl, but went for the friendly dog walk. From there, the two went to a Bronze Radio Return concert where Claire asked Levi which fake ID she should use to get into the bar. Levi was a bit surprised and apprehensive at the 4.5 year age gap but then the duo got considerably intoxicated at the show and danced the night away, finishing up by making out in the famous Georgetown clock tower at 2am. The rest is history - Claire moved in without housing for the summer two weeks later and within a year, the two had moved west to California in search of a life together.
