Please RSVP as soon as possible, but due by August 15th.
Although we would love to have your whole family attend, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.
Our wedding is formal or black-tie optional. Below is a great article to further explain the attire! https://www.brides.com/black-tie-optional-wedding-attire-4800698
We have a smaller guest count due to the venue, so our wedding is strictly invite only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
With Josh and myself being part of the healthcare team, we would highly encourage all of our friends and family members to get vaccinated and boosted, if not already. If you are not fully vaccinated by our wedding, then we kindly ask you test within 72 hours of the ceremony.
We recommend that you arrive thirty minutes before the start of the ceremony. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 and the Chapel doors will be locked. If you are running late we kindly ask for you not to try and come inside. After the ceremony you will be directed to the Barn and Pavilion to enjoy cocktail hour and the reception.
For your convenience we have all of our registries linked on our Zola page!
We will gladly accept cash, checks or venmo to directly deposit into our honeymoon account! Josh's venmo: @Josh-Hynson Claire's venmo: @Claire-Gray-3
We will be having a cocktail hour directly following the ceremony in addition to buffet dinner (pork, beef and sides) catered by The Exchange. The open bar will be serving beer and wine (from Trump Winery) in addition to water, sweet tea and lemonade.
Our ceremony will be unplugged-- we request that you put away cell phones, cameras and any other devices in order to be present in the moment. We will have both a photographer and videographer to capture our special moment!
Yes, outside of our ceremony we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media. We would appreciate you tagging each photo with our wedding hashtag #hitchedtohynson so we can keep track of all of your pictures! Also, be on the lookout for our amazing photographer and videographer's work that will be coming soon after the wedding!!
We do not have a hotel block since this would lock guests into staying for a minimum of two nights and we know that some of you may only wish to stay one night. If you visit our "travel" section on the website there is more than enough information to guide you in your booking process.
The ceremony will be located in the Chapel and reception in the Barn and Pavilion, both on Trump Winery's Albermarle Estate. Both will be indoors, with the option (weather permitting) to have an outdoor space at the reception.
We encourage our guests who plan to consume alcoholic beverages to ride our shuttle.
