Catawba Brewing Company Charlotte
This is our favorite brewery in Charlotte! They have great beer, a great atmosphere and tons of space! They even have a great view of uptown Charlotte from their patio. Dogs are welcome!
Essex Bar & Bistro
Essex is a great restaurant and bar right across the street from the Marriott. Make sure to get the dip trio!
RedEye Diner
The Redeye Diner has great food and is open 24 hours! Only a short walk from the Marriott.
Reid's Fine Foods
Reids is right across the street from the Marriot City Center. It is a great place to grab lunch or even just a snack!
Whiskey Warehouse
Whiskey Warehouse is one of our favorite restaurants! It's a great place for a meal or even just a drink. Make sure to go upstairs to their rooftop to have a great view of the Charlotte Skyline.
Romare Bearden Park
Romare Bearden Park is a few bocks away from the Marriot. Great views of the city and BB&T Ballpark.
U.S. National Whitewater Center
The Whitewater Center is one of our absolute favorite places to go! It is about 15 minutes outside of downtown Charlotte but well worth the drive. You can grab lunch, a beer or just go on a hike and watch rafters go down the rapids. It is dog friendly too!
