John and I met 5 years ago when we worked a flight together. It was Ontario, CA to Sacramento, CA. It was only an hour long flight but thankfully we both had 2 hours on the ground in Sacramento. We got to know each other over breakfast burritos. When it was time to go our separate ways, I gave him my phone number and told him to add me on SnapChat. After 100 days of Snaps and novel long text messages, we decided we should meet up again. Our first date was in Burbank, California. It obviously went well because 2 years later we got engaged on my birthday, September 23, 2018, on a cruise on Halong Bay, Vietnam. Since then we spent a year in Minnesota but we knew in our hearts that Colorado was home. We bought our first house in March of 2020 and were blessed enough to keep our jobs through a crazy scary pandemic. Now that things have settled down, we thought it was FINALLY time to plan our special day. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you at the beautiful Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort! We know it will be worth the wait!
