The Wedding Website of Claire Murphy and Jim Hancox
We're delighted to invite you to join us in Claire's hometown of Trim, Co. Meath and in Clonabreany House, Oldcastle, Co. Meath for our wedding celebrations. We wrestled with whether or not we wanted to have a wedding or just do something small ourselves. Where we landed was that it is not often we get to have all the people we love together to celebrate the good stuff. So with that in mind, we hope you can join us! For those of you who have to travel or get babysitters/pet sitters. Here's some details and accommodation options so you can start booking and planning the rest of your Ireland trip. If you have any questions let us know.

Wedding Celebrations

2:30 pm

Clonabreany House
Crossakiel, MH A82 R9C8, Ireland

Cocktail dress (a little dressy but not black tie)

At an Irish wedding, its a tradition to have a drink (or a coffee!) to settle yourself before a wedding and maybe meet a few people you haven't seen for a while. With that in mind, Clonabreany have a lovely snug (small pub) beside the ceremony venue which will be open from 1.30pm. For those who are not driving, there will be a bus from Trim at 1.15pm and buses returning at midnight (when the band is finished) and 2.30am (when the bar closes). There will be a welcome reception in the main house after the ceremony until 530pm. Dinner is at 6pm and we will dance the night away from 830pm

Day After Party

4:00 pm

Marcie Regan's Pub
R154, Newtown, MH, Ireland

Casual, smart casual, anything goes really! Cash/card bar

The day after an Irish wedding is often the best day. There'll be music, drinks and chat. The bride and groom get an opportunity to let their hair down and chat about the day before with friends and family in a more casual setting. There'll be Irish bbq (sausages, burgers and chicken with salads). You are not obliged to come to the Day 2 but you are more than welcome. Stay as long or a little as you like. Irish goodbyes acceptable.

For all the days along the way
