Coon's Franklin Lodge

Lodging at the resort is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. A two-night minimum stay is required, with a special wedding rate of $157 per person, per night. Please note that Coons Franklin Lodge only accepts cash or checks for payment. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 12th. Guests are welcome to arrive earlier in the afternoon to enjoy the resort; however, cabins may not be ready until the designated check-in time. Check-out is at 11:00 AM on Sunday. Cabins are equipped with a small refrigerator, cooler, daily ice and firewood delivery, and maid service. The lodge offers a wide range of complimentary activities for guests to enjoy, including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, sailing, paddleboarding, hiking, swimming, pickleball, and tennis (please bring your own pickleball & tennis rackets). Due to limited availability, some guests may be asked to share cabins. We will do our best to pair guests with friends or family to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Guests staying on-site will be provided with breakfast and lunch on Saturday, as well as a farewell brunch on Sunday morning before departure. All wedding guests, those staying at the resort as well as those staying at nearby hotels, are invited to start the weekend celebrations with us at the Friday Welcome Dinner. On June 13th, we are providing complimentary transportation for our guests to and from Coons Franklin Lodge from 2 locations in Minocqua. This will be provided by StarGazer Limousine Service (a 28 passenger mini coach bus) at the following times: From 2 hotels to Coons Franklin Lodge: 4:20 pm | Departing The Waters of Minocqua 4:35 pm | Departing Grandstay hotel From Coons Franklin Lodge to Minocqua hotels: 10:15 pm | Departing Coons Franklin Lodge 11:00 pm Departing Coons Franklin Lodge 12:00 am | Departing Coons Franklin Lodge For any other transportation needs, such as from private residences and Airbnb properties, Lakeland Cab is another option. For those traveling by air, we recommend flying into Central Wisconsin Airport, or alternatively into Milwaukee, Chicago, or Minneapolis, followed by a rental car for the remainder of your journey.
