The Sheraton is in Kanapaali on the west side of the island, which is about a 45 minute drive from the airport.
Yes! There are taxis and Ubers available on the island. You'll have no issue getting to and from the airport (probably ~$70). If you plan on traveling to other areas of the island, you might be happier with a car for the flexibility.
The wedding ceremony and reception are at the Olowalu Plantation! It is about a 15-20 min drive from the Sheraton. We will be providing transportation for all guests staying that the Sheraton and there is free parking available at the venue for anyone who wants to drive themselves!

No, the wedding will not be on sand -- so don't worry about your shoes! The ceremony will be outside on grass, with dancing on pavers.

Yes! We want to celebrate more with you! We will be having a welcome party on Friday, September 11th as well the wedding ceremony, reception, and afterparty on the 12th. We will be holding other casual events if anyone is in town earlier or later! We are still working out the details, but everything will be included on our schedule.
No, historic Lahaina town (Front Street) is not fully open after the fires, but surrounding areas in West Maui are accessible to visitors. The burned areas of Lahaina are still closed, but visitors can travel through the area to get to and enjoy parts of West Maui that were unaffected, such as Kāʻanapali, Nāpili, and Kapalua. The community is still rebuilding so please be respectful <3
