How We Met & Our Story Claire and Hutch’s story began in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, swiping right on Tinder. Hutch, a born-and-raised Texas boy, was attending Missouri Baptist University on a baseball scholarship, while Claire, a Missouri native, was living her life in her home state. They started dating during Hutch’s junior year and spent the rest of his college days growing closer, navigating life, school, and love. After graduation, Hutch moved back to Texas to pursue his doctorate at Texas A&M and continue his dream of becoming a pharmacist. The distance was challenging, but their bond was stronger—and eventually, Claire made the move to Texas to be with him. After four wonderful years together, filled with adventures, love, and growth, Hutch finally popped the question—and the rest is history!
