Right at Cavallo Point! Great for families with kids (or adults! It's fun to be a kid for an afternoon!) — full of interactive exhibits, outdoor play spaces, and epic views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Fun for families, science lovers, and anyone who secretly misses field trips. Located in the heart of Golden Gate Park, the California Academy of Sciences is a one-of-a-kind museum where nature, science, and fun all collide under one living roof. It's part aquarium, part planetarium, part natural history museum — and all-around awesome.
Ferry Building
A foodie heaven full of artisan vendors, local coffee, oysters, wine, and more — all in a historic waterfront terminal.
Alcatraz Island
Take a ferry to the infamous former prison — the audio tour is a favorite for a reason. Book tickets early! If you do this, please report back to us — we still haven't done this and have been DYING to go!
