Idaho Falls is a city in Eastern Idaho, about 1.5 hours from Grand Targhee. From here you can either rent a car, or call the resort ahead of time to organize a shuttle!

Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole is about an hour drive directly to Grand Targhee. Grand Targhee has a shuttle service that will take you to and from the Jackson Hole airport for a fee. Give them a call to set up your shuttle ahead of time if this is an option you're interested in! Car rentals are also an option from Jackson Hole.

There are plenty of lodging rooms at Grand Targhee that can sleep anywhere from 2-7 people. We have a room block for guests available now (see below for instructions) that will be released out to the public April 30th, 2023. This doesn't mean rooms wont still be available after this date, but the price will be standard and we do not guarantee they will be available. Below are the room types included in our room block. You can also choose to stay at the Targhee Lodge on the premises, which is the resort's cheapest option. The Targhee Lodge is not included in the room block but is still available for booking. Take a look at the website above to gain a better understanding of the different room options! Teewinot Lodge: Either two queens or one king bed, 1 bathroom. Sleeps 2-4 Sioux Lodge - Studio: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Sleeps up to 5 Sioux Lodge - Loft: Open floor concept suite, 1 bathroom. Sleeps 7 Sioux Lodge - 2 bedroom: bi-level loft rooms, 1.5 baths. Sleeps 10 To obtain the group rate, individuals are to email reservations@grandtarghee.com or call Grand Targhee Resort Central Reservations at 800.827.4433 option 1 and refer to the “Poethke - Smith WEDDING”. At the time of booking, individuals will be required to provide 1 night plus tax as a deposit to confirm each room; the remainder balance will be collected 45 days prior to arrival. Guest accommodations will be available at 4:00 PM on arrival day and reserved until 11:00 AM on departure day. Guests who stay later than the defined checkout time will be charged the additional night’s stay. Pet friendly limited rooms may be available upon request only. Pets of any sort are not allowed within any of Grand Targhee Resort’s buildings or lodging units, unless traveling to a “pet friendly” room. Guests who bring pets into non-approved Grand Targhee Resort building could be charged a minimum $200 cleaning fee.
