Here are our recommendations of neighborhoods to consider, from closest to furthest from the venue: Old Monterey / Downtown Monterey Historic, walkable downtown district known for its rich Spanish/Mexican heritage, preserved adobe buildings, and maritime charm. Downtown Monterey is walking distance to the venue. Del Monte Peaceful, family-friendly, and walkable neighborhood featuring direct access to Del Monte Beach and the scenic Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail. Cannery Row Vibrant waterfront district renowned for its scenic coastal views, upscale dining, and boutique shopping. Also home to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Pacific Grove Charming, quiet, and scenic coastal "butterfly town" known for its Victorian-era homes and stunning Monterey Bay coastline. Carmel-by-the-Sea One-square-mile, storybook coastal village known for its intense artistic heritage, fairytale cottages, and upscale, relaxed atmosphere. (Traffic can make it feel a lot further than it is.)
