Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our ceremony and reception is Black Tie. The dress code for the rehearsal / welcome party is Summer Cocktail. For men think Blazers/Jackets with no ties required. For women think cocktail level dresses in summer colors or fabrics. We recommend block heels for women for both events as there will be grass.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please ensure you arrive at the chapel by 3:45 to get seated by the time the ceremony begins!
Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony and reception?
Answer
There is no transportation from the hotels to the chapel due to height restrictions at a bridge in town and timing constraints. Please see below for the walking distances, Ubers, or recommendations on parking. After the ceremony, a large 55 person Coach Bus is being provided to transport guests from the UVA Chapel to Farmington Country Club for the Reception. The Bus is first come first served. The first pick up will occur at 5pm in front of the UVA Chapel. The second pick up will occur at 5:30pm from the UVA Chapel. At the end of the night, the 55 person Coach Bus is being provided to transport guests from Farmington Country Club to downtown Charlottesville. The first pick up from Farmington CC will occur around 11pm and take guests to The Draftsman Hotel and The Graduate Hotel. The second pick up from Farmington CC will occur around midnight and take guests to The Virginian Restaurant for a late night after-party. Address for The Virginian Restaurant/Bar: 1521 University Ave, Charlottesville, VA 22903 (IMPORTANT) Additional Notes regarding transportation/distances between locations: There is limited parking near the UVA Chapel. Guests who drive can park either at the UVA bookstore lot (400 Emmett) or there is also limited parking or on Elliewood Avenue. Please utilize Uber/Lyft between the events as much as possible The walk from The Graduate Hotel to the UVA Chapel is ~10 minutes. The walk from The Draftsman Hotel to the UVA Chapel is 15-20 minutes. Both of these are nice walks through the UVA grounds if it isn't too hot! The after-party location, The Virginian Restaurant/Bar, is a 5 minute walk from The Graduate Hotel and a 10 minute walk from The Draftsman Hotel.
