Welcome to Denton! What we lack in team spirit, we make up for in great music, art, and food. 😉 Historic Downtown Denton is one of those rare places that feels endlessly creative, full of charm, and instantly welcoming. Centered around the iconic Courthouse-on-the-Square, it’s filled with independent shops, artists, musicians, and small businesses that have built a neat little community. You’ll find many well known spots visited by food critics and creators - restaurants, thrift shops, a retro candy store, and cozy coffeehouses. For instance, Recycled Books is a stunning three-story bookstore and record shop housed in a former opera house that’s a dream for collectors and wanderers alike. Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Downtown Denton Community Market brings the square to life with local vendors, fresh food, and live music - the perfect excuse to wander with a coffee from Jupiter House (and, if you’re lucky, one of their legendary cinnamon rolls). If the timing is right, April may also bring seasonal events like the Spring Art & Jazz Festival, celebrating the city’s vibrant arts scene. Evenings downtown are just as special. Enjoy live music and rooftop views at LSA Burger Co., end the night with a brownie sundae from Beth Marie’s Ice Cream. For drinks and fun, try board games and brews at D20 Tavern, craft cocktails and live music at Harvest House, or food trucks at East Side Denton - and if all else fails, you can return back to the square for a late-night Dix Coney Island hot dog. Denton is quirky, creative, and full of heart. It will always hold a special place in ours. 💚

Welcome to Frisco! Frisco offers a mix of energy, relaxation, and plenty to explore. The Star, a 91-acre entertainment district and home to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, is a fun stop whether you’re a sports fan or just curious. If you’re looking to unwind, Frisco is home to incredible spas like WorldSprings, perfect for slowing down during the weekend. For shopping and strolling, Stonebriar Centre, The Shops at Legacy, and Legacy West offer walkable spaces filled with boutiques, dining, and places to gather. For something more active, get your heart pumping at iFLY or Active Arena. When it’s time to eat, you’ll find plenty of local favorites nearby - and for breakfast, The Biscuit Bar at Granite Park holds a special place as the site of Clay & Claire’s first date, with a boardwalk that’s perfect for sitting, gathering, and soaking it all in.

The PGA Omni is a 2023 addition to the area, right on the golf course at the newly built PGA Headquarters. It has beautiful amenities and is about 45 minutes from the venue and about 15 minutes to downtown Frisco.

Sanger is a really cute little town that is also under 30 minutes from the venue! The Holiday Inn Express has a 15-passenger van that they offer, which is GREAT if you are having to move a crowd. The hotel also isn’t very far from the delicious Babe’s Chicken Dinner House.

Airbnb and VRBO have some really amazing options near the venue if you would prefer to stay in a house or have family that would. Definitely give those a look, but make sure you book early. The ones we recommend tend to book really fast!
