On February 14, 2020, Claire and her friend RJ had made plans to spend Valentine's Day together at Claire's apartment. At the last minute, RJ asked Claire if he could invite his friend, Clark, who had recently moved to Arizona from Utah. Little did Claire know that RJ had a plan up his sleeve to set the two up. Following their first date, Claire infamously told Clark that she would "never see him" due to being a full-time speech pathology graduate student. Cut to a couple of weeks later when the Covid lockdown changed everything, and the rest is history.
