Chris and I met during the opening week of college. State Tech was hosting an event each night, with one of them being advertised as a “glow dance” . I assumed glow necklaces and glowsticks and saw it as an opportunity to meet some other girls on campus. Afterall, what trade-school guys would be interested in a dance? I talked the only other girl I had met at orientation into going with me. What we walked into was unexpected, as it turns out “glow dance” translated to “outdoor glow paint rave concert” where they blast you with glow in the dark paint from the stage. We stayed and danced, got completely soaked and freezing cold. Chris kept catching my eye but I didn't have the nerves to try to approach him. As the event was wrapping up my friend and I were taking pictures. Chris walked up to offer to hold the camera, and started talking to me. It was then announced that someone had lost their keys. Everyone split up to help search the area. My friend was ready to leave, and while I was disappointed Chris had not asked for my phone number, I was getting cold and agreed to go. While sitting in my car blasting the heat and looking up directions back to my apartment, Chris knocked on my window and asked me for my snapchat info. We started talking the moment I got home, and haven't stopped yet.
