Stunning, brand-new park that connects Pike Place Market to the waterfront, and the aquarium! Highly recommend grabbing some food from the market and bringing it down to the park to take in the sights. Views include both stadiums, Mt Rainier, the Olympic mountain range, and the Space Needle.
A classic Seattle destination, with flying fish, vendor stalls, and the infamous gum wall! Our favorite dining spots in the market: Le Panier: Go here to grab tasty French baked goods and sandwiches Matt's at the Market: A finer dining experience with fresh flavors Lowell's Restaurant: Tasty chowder with a view Old Stove Brewing: Brewery with lots of seating, connected to the newly opened Overlook Walk
Buy a walk-on ticket to hop over to Bainbridge Island for the afternoon. There is a short uphill walk from the ferry terminal to get into a main street with lots of dining (notably Bruciato for wood fired pizza), wine tasting, and shopping options. Plus, you get a ferry ride built in :) Note: ferries don't always run on schedule! Be sure to leave extra time to get back to downtown for any planned evening activities.
