What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional. In other words, formal wear is recommended, but not strictly required. We kindly ask that ladies do not wear white, cream, or ivory colored attire. For men, please refrain from wearing aloha shirts or casual attire. We recommend that men wear suits or tuxdeos; white dress shirts are OK.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire wedding will take place outdoors. This includes the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Please plan accordingly. The afterparty will be indoors.

Are there accommodations near the venue or hotel room blocks?

Answer

Since Jeune Perche is a private estate, there are no accommodations directly near the venue. We will not be providing hotel room blocks. We recommend that our guests stay in Oceanside, CA in a hotel or Airbnb; please refer to the Travel tab for recommended options.

What time should I arrive at the wedding?

Answer

Please arrive between 3:15pm and 3:45pm. The ceremony will promptly start at 4:00pm.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

You can either take a rideshare (i.e. uber/lyft) or take one of our provided shuttles. Shuttles will pickup from SpringHill Suites by Marriott Oceanside Beach to bring you to Jeune Perche. Time is TBD, est. ~3pm. At the end of reception, the shuttle will drive you from the venue to 2 locations: the after party location in downtown Oceanside, and then back to SpringHill Suites by Marriott (i.e. the original pickup location).

How will I get back from the venue?

Answer

You can either uber or take one of our provided shuttles. The shuttle will drop guests off at 2 locations: 1. First stop is the after party location in downtown Oceanside. 2. Second stop is the SpringHill Suites by Marriott If you choose to uber, we recommend scheduling your uber ahead of time since it will be difficult to call for an uber at the end of the night. Reception will promptly end at 10pm. The venue owner has told us that ubers have never cancelled a scheduled ride from their venue before.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

There is limited parking for at most 10 cars. No street parking is allowed. We kindly ask that you either uber to the venue or take one of our provided shuttles. Should you have circumstances that prevent you from using one of these options, please contact the bride via email: clairemai4@gmail.com

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Due to the venue's limited capacity, only the people addressed on the invitation envelope are invited.

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

No, there is no wedding registry. We will only be accepting envelopes or Venmo. Please refer to the Registry tab for more details.
