Due to limited capacity at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those that are formally invited. Everyone invited will be addressed on your invitation and the RSVP section of the website.
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 4:30 pm.
While there is no formal dress code such as black tie, we'd love to see you dressed up for us. Take this as an opportunity to break out something you never have the occasion to wear, like a sparkly suit or disco dress. We encourage vintage clothing, glitter, and what you wish you could wear to the Met Gala. Please no white and no jeans unless you're in a full Canadian tuxedo, in which case that's camp and we support it. Keep in mind that the Clairesmaids and Calismen will be wearing a navy and a light blue.
There is street parking around the venue, as well as a gated lot next to it for the Detroit Institute of Arts. Note that you cannot park overnight at the venue. If you're staying locally for the night, we encourage you to carpool or book an uber or lyft. Please drive responsibly!
We'll miss you! Please RSVP as soon as you know if you will or will not be able to attend so we can plan accordingly. If we don't hear from you by July 31st, we will assume that you can't make it.
