We went on our first date here and it's actually a really smelly, sad place. don't go to the zoo.

truly incredible, however a bit expensive, Chinese-Peruvian fusion restaurant down the street from our house. MOST DELICIOUS fried rice we've ever had.

Great hiking! So many trails - you can hike up to the observatory, through the old zoo (which is super cool to see and a very easy hike), and even behind the Hollywood sign.
Hike / Hang out in Elysian Park
lovely lawns and trails! Be mindful that when there is a Dodger Game at the stadium (which will be happening all weekend long), things get backed up and parking gets TOUGH.
