FAQs

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by January 1st 2026.

Question

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP online here on our website.

Question

Can I have a plus 1?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! Due to space limitations and our desire to keep the celebration intimate, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If a plus-one is included for you, their name (or “and guest”) will appear on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

As much as we love your kiddos, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration—with the exception of a few tiny VIPs from our immediate families. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors in the beautiful Sunken Garden at Roche Harbor Resort. The reception will follow indoors, so you’ll get to enjoy both the gorgeous natural setting and a cozy evening celebration. We recommend keeping the weather in mind when choosing your attire (please see weather FAQ). Roche Harbor in late May is usually lovely, but a light layer never hurts! Liquid blankets encouraged!

Question

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be a formal celebration so please leave the jeans and sneakers at home. For men, a full suit or a sports jacket with dress pants is perfect (no shorts please). For women, we suggest floor-length or mid-length dresses that feel elevated and elegant. Our bridal party will be in formal floor-length gowns and tuxedos, so feel free to dress to impress!

Question

Where should we bring our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we truly mean that! We’re not accepting physical gifts or creating a registry, but if you feel moved to contribute, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund to help us kick off married life with a special adventure. You'll find a link on our website in the “Honeymoon Fund” section.

Question

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Answer

Our wedding will be held on May 29th, 2026, in beautiful Roche Harbor, Washington. When we visited recently, the weather was sunny with a light overcast—no rain, not too hot or cold, and all the spring blooms were out in full force. It was truly lovely! That said, Washington weather can be a bit unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a light layer or jacket, just in case. Fingers crossed for more of that perfect spring sunshine!

Question

Can I bring my dog to the wedding?

Answer

While we absolutely love your furry friends (and Roche Harbor is indeed a very dog-friendly place!), our wedding itself will be a pet-free event. We kindly ask that you leave your pups at home, or enjoy the fact that most of the accommodations at Roche are dog friendly, and you can leave your dog in your room. Please check with your host ahead of time to make sure that they allow you to bring your dog. Thank you for understanding. We promise there will still be plenty of tail-wagging joy on the dance floor!

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during that time so everyone can be fully present with us. I know your screen time will diminish, and we are not offering compensation. If you have a go pro, please send a private inquiry. Before and after the ceremony, however, we strongly encourage taking lots of photos and videos and capturing all the fun.

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We’re happy for you to share photos from before and after the ceremony! We only ask that you kindly hold off on posting any pictures of the bride or groom until after the reception. None of us want Blake to cry and tear stain his suit.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

No, hashtags aren't really our vibe. Meta is not sponsoring this event, but if they offer, please let them know we could be interested.

Question

Can I propose to my significant other at your wedding?

Answer

This is a hilarious question, and if you've gotten this far in the FAQ to click on this, I applaud you. Please, god, do not propose at our wedding.
