We met through Facebook dating in November 2023. Claire messaged Alex first, and Alex quickly arranged a first date on December 15th for a Zydeco hockey game and Coffee Call. Fun fact: They bumped into Claire’s boss Tara, Claire’s friend Megan Boudreaux, and some of Alex’s high school classmates at the hockey game!

On March 17, 2025, Alex told Claire to get ready after work. He picked her up and drove to Coffee Call where Claire’s parents and grandmothers were hiding in the parking lot. Alex proposed in front of the coffee and beignet shop where they had their first date. Fun fact: Claire and Alex plan to take their engagement pictures at Coffee Call.
