While Claire and Bailey both attended Auburn University at the same time, their paths didn’t cross until a few years later, after they had both settled in Birmingham. Though they may have unknowingly attended the same parties in Auburn or crossed paths at events around Birmingham, it ultimately took a few mutual friends to set them up on a blind date. They met for drinks at Adiõs — fittingly, one of the country’s top cocktail bars that year. Aside from Bailey forgetting to walk Claire back to her car after their first date, the two hit it off immediately and have been inseparable ever since. Their only real challenge? Managing Bailey's allergies caused by their beloved cat, Bacon.
