This has been a McMahon frequent haunt since the 1980’s and Clair’s absolute favorite restaurant. We recommend the fish tacos, the enchiladas, or classic fajitas - and no El Jarro meal would be complete without one of their famous margaritas! Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Major cards/Casual/Accessible
The San Antonio River Walk is the heart of the city, and close to our venue! As the #1 attraction in Texas, the River Walk is full of dining and shopping. It’s centrally located so you can walk the path along the traditional River Walk, continue on the quieter northern end, or hop off downtown to take a tour through the Alamo.
Although this is where our wedding will be, the historic Pearl is absolutely worth a second (or third!) visit. Comprised of distinct, locally-owned restaurants and shops it’s the perfect blend of historic San Antonio & modernization. Take a scenic walk to explore The Pearl via the Museum Reach (San Antonio Museum of Art), a rejuvenated stretch of the pedestrian-friendly River Walk. Enjoy the San Antonio sunshine and pass art murals and green spaces in route.
