Our first date

June 12, 2022

Cole and I met on the dating app tinder. I never would have thought I would have met someone online, but I’m so glad I did. Our first date was at the Top of the River restaurant in Gadsden. Not sure you can even call it a date as we were accompanied by quite a few of my family members. While at lunch baby Gavin dropped a fried pickle in my shirt pocket and it must have been my lucky pickle because Cole and I have been inseparable ever since.

Promise ring

June 18, 2022

We went on our first real date on June 18th just six days after we first met. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and then to see the movie Top Gun: Maverick. I somehow knew I was going to marry him when an old Ford Bronco came on the screen and he looked at me to see my reaction (Broncos are my favorite). I’m sure people thought we were crazy, I know my parents sure did, but Cole gave me a promise ring that night and swore he would upgrade it for an engagement ring soon.

Family reunion

Late July, 2022

In July Cole went to his first Brindley family reunion. Historically, if you bring someone to our family reunion you marry them.

Football travels

Fall of 2022

While I was working for UAB football, Cole was my number one fan and never missed a game home or away. We got to explore a bunch of really neat cities.

Engagement

February 13th, 2023

Cole proposed to me at the place we love most, Rocky Creek Equine. Much to Mom’s chagrin, he proposed just the two of us and we didn’t even think to take a picture of us or the ring before we left. Even though there are no pictures to mark the occasion the moment will forever live in our hearts.

Forever

We are greatly looking forward to the wedding and the opportunity to share such a monumental moment with you. And we can’t wait for forever together!
