Two history loving Midwesterners met while leading school trips to Washington D.C. in the summer of 2021, and thankfully, they’ve barely let each other out of their sight since. Almost immediately, they were sneaking phone calls and Facetimes while dodging coworkers during room checks. At first, they weren’t sure if it was just a summer romance that would fade, but it never even came close. The next four years were filled with the two living life to the fullest; meeting each other’s friends and families, adopting a cat, traveling the world, and buying a house. From the start, being together felt like seeing life through a different lens. Kyle says he knew Chelsey was the one when she agreed to visit the Winston Churchill Museum in Fulton, Missouri for their second date. For Chelsey, there was never one big “AHA” moment. She fell in love gradually, with how naturally he blended into her life, as if he had always been there. Now, they’re excited to begin their next big chapter together, as The Tyes.
