We are so excited to adventure with you!

The past year was a whirlwind, first the wedding was postponed due to the pandemic, and then sadly it was cancelled because of continued border closures. But we are back, baby! We wanted to take a minute to get you up to speed on what happened this year, first of all… Yes, we still love each other, even after being stuck together (and mostly alone) in our 600sqft apartment in NYC. There were definitely highs and lows this year. It was an adjustment when Christy started working in the COVID ICUs, and she kicked Jacob out of the apartment for fear that she would get him sick. Thankfully our friend Ryan Piela graciously welcomed Jacob into his home for a few months during the height of the pandemic, even while they both worked from home in an equally small apartment. Must have been all the puzzles keeping the “piece”. One good thing is that there seemed to be a direct correlation between the amount of time we were stuck inside and the number of plants we own, so our collection has grown tremendously. The highlight of the year, of course, was getting married June 2020 in the Hamptons. We had a rather spontaneous elopement made possible by Christy’s family friends Mike Foss and Peter Kuhn. It was a magical celebration, but it was missing just one thing… all of you lovely people. We are so excited to have another opportunity to mark this milestone in our relationship, and that we get to share it with our closest friends and family. We are truly ecstatic to have this wedding event with all of our people in one place, and cannot wait for this weekend adventure with everyone. - Christy and Jacob
