FAQs

The Wedding Website of CK Hermosa and Julian Gutierrez
Question

What colors should I wear?

Answer

Please join us in wearing our wedding colors, which would be any shade of violet. Dark, light, muted, or vibrant violet - you decide! This can then be partnered with neutrals such as black, gray, or beige if needed. To align with our minimalist theme, we request our guests to wear solid colors only. This means no florals, prints, patterns or motifs. For inspiration/reference for the dress code, you can check out this mood board: https://pin.it/6l2H19wwp

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Feel free to wear a dress (any length), dressy separates such as a jumpsuit or a blouse + skirt, a suit (tie optional), or dress shirt with a tie. The ceremony will be outdoors in the garden, while the reception will be indoors. Please take this into account when choosing your attire. Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. That being said, we kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring guests or +1/s not noted in my invitation?

Answer

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list in order to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When and where should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on our website by 30 April 2025. You are welcome to RSVP before this date!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “will not attend” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

While we do not have hotel room blocks reserved, there are many hotels and Airbnb’s available very close to the venue. Please see our page on Places to Stay for suggestions.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are not providing transportation to and from the events, but the ceremony and reception are in the same location and there is parking space available in front of and around the venue. If you do not wish to drive, we suggest taking a Grab or taxi.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Parking in front of the venue is available, but somewhat limited in slots. If the venue parking lot is full, street parking around the venue is possible and free of charge.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00 PM, so please arrive no later than 2:30 PM to allow time to park, enter the venue, and find a seat.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After we say “I do,” there will be a some post-ceremony photos and video-taking together with all guests in the garden before we convene for reception.

Question

Can I take pictures and/or videos with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

During the ceremony, we request all guests to be fully present with us by keeping all phones and cameras away, up until we conclude with the recessional. From post-ceremony onwards, we would love for you to capture our special day and we encourage you to snap away!

Question

I have a food allergy and/or restriction, can this be accommodated?

Answer

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, so please let us know when you RSVP about any allergens and/or food restrictions.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, please know that we will be having a prosperity dance during reception. You may refer to our Wedding Well details for cash gifts. Thank you!
