We met back in college. We were at a bar hanging with our friends and Cason walked up to me and said, "I want to play a game with you." I respectful declined, but he was very persistent. So I finally gave in and said, "Ok, what is the game?" Cason processed to show me three cards, one card meant slap, one card meant hug, and the last one meant kiss. You pull the card and whatever you pull you must do. I agreed to the terms and I pulled a card. Forgetting what they meant I turned them around and showed Cason, "What does this one mean," I asked. Before he even answered he leaned and in kissed me grabbed my phone put his number in it and the next week we were going on our first date.

The proposal was on Christmas. We were all sitting around opening presents like a normal family does. Then Papaw told us he had a surprise for us all. I of course made the comment it better be a good surprise like the surprise last year how you gave us a vacation! He processed to come out with a box. He handed it to Jennifer. She opened the first layer of wrapping. (which all of the siblings were videotaping so I should of known something was up!) She hands it over to Mike he opens the next layer of wrapping. We do that a couple of times and boxes are getting smaller and smaller. Finally they hand it to Cason, (at this point I am very confused of what could be in this little box) as he opens the last thing of wrapping. He turns around gets on one knee and asks me to marry him. Of course I said yes!

We have been very busy this last year! Jenna has been working hard as a third year teacher influencing todays youth in positive ways! Cason has been on the Avon Police Department as a patrol officer for over a year now and is a member of the Crime Action Team! We have bought our first house that has been an amazing home for our little family. Our puppy, Molle, is now three years old and loves all the great places to take naps around our new home. We are very exciting for starting the next chapter of our life as MR. and MRS. Elkin!
