We met on a Sunday-Funday in Uptown Charlotte. We were out with our respective friend groups and a mutual friend brought the two groups together. (Thanks, Lexi!) Jon started the conversation by commenting on my height and calling me a munchkin (very original). I don't remember everything we talked about but after a bit, we forgot our friends were even there. About a week later, Jon asked me out on a date- and here we are!

Maybe it was Jon's ultimate poker face or my trusting nature, but I had no idea what he had planned that day. Jon said he had a work outting in Uptown and we had to take photos with his colleagues, prior to the event. It had been raining all day so I didn't know why he was so adamant on taking the photos in the park, but I went with it. As we pulled up to Romere Bearden Park, the rain stopped and the sun popped out. We wandered around the park searching for his "colleagues." Jon says, "Hey Court," and when I turn around, he's on one knee! I couldn't believe it. We walked across the street to the place where we first met and Jon had some of our closest friends waiting for us! Now, we are so excited to celebrate with everyone. See you all soon!
