Notes to Guests Unfamiliar with Los Angeles/Southern California
If you have never been to LA or Southern California, here are some things to know. In general, public transportation is not reliable at all. For travelling to and from airports, hotels, and the venue, your best options are rental cars or Uber/Lyft. For LAX, specifically, the Flyaway shuttle is a great option if you want to rely on ride-sharing services. More information on this is below.

Flyaway Bus
For travel to and from LAX, the Flyaway bus is a great option to save a little money, but it does add a step to the travel day. A one-way ticket is $12.75, and buses leave the airport about every 20 minutes. The Flyaway buses travel to the Van Nuys station and to Union Station, which are both closer to Moorpark than LAX. An Uber/Lyft can be called from those stations and would be more affordable than from the airport. You can do the same thing for your departure date, travelling to the station where you can get on the bus back to LAX.
