It all began at Rush Camp, where CJ returned for the first time in years and Rylee stepped into her very first Rush. Talk about God’s perfect timing! Early on, Rylee quickly learned from other leaders and students about a little tradition called Rush Crushes, and little did they know, they had already found their forever Rush Crush. Thanks to the Hammonds family (especially Kaitlyn) who played a big role as God’s hands and heart in bringing them together, CJ and Rylee’s paths began to intertwine. Through many prayers (even prayers for “removal” at times), God revealed that this connection was no coincidence. He was writing a story far bigger than either of them imagined. What started as a simple camp crush has blossomed into a Christ-centered love story, one that is only just beginning. And now, CJ and Rylee are so excited to see what God continues to unfold as they step into marriage together. ✨
