We met at Heights Community Church through a group of young adults seeking authentic, biblical community. What began as a simple friendship quickly grew as we bonded over our shared love for Christ and serving His church. Over time, CJ began to develop a bit of a crush on Noah. Full of confidence (and maybe a little bit of nerves), he asked her out on a date. To his surprise… she said no. But humbled doesn’t mean hopeless. CJ, undeterred, continued to pursue her—with a heart full of faith and patience. After several “not yets,” Noah eventually agreed to a date… and that’s when our story as a couple truly began. Rooted in our love for Jesus, we stepped into a new adventure—discovering what it really means to date as a Christian couple. Through many lessons, laughter, and late-night conversations, we realized just how compatible we were as partners under God’s headship. We became an answered prayer to each other. For Noah: a patient man who leads with grace. For CJ: a woman who forgives freely and never takes his efforts for granted. All of it—every step, every delay, every yes and no—woven together by God’s timing and grace.
