One day, Deanna was bartending and a coworker introduced her to the new server, CJ. Deanna said, "I like your beard," and that was that. A few weeks later, CJ and Deanna were working a morning shift at the restaurant when they started up a conversation. As the shift got a little bit busier, the two did not want to stop talking, so, they started writing notes on printer paper at the bar top. At the end of the shift, CJ walked her to her car and said, "I'll see you next shift." Deanna got in her car, and decided she didn't want to wait until her next shift to see him. She found him on Facebook, as well as their work app and said, "I might be all wrong about this, but here is my number." Three days later she heard back from him. CJ asked if Deanna had any plans that night, and she did. He said, "okay," and Deanna responded with, "Ask me what I am doing tomorrow night," and CJ said, "alright." Deanna then followed up with, "No. Ask me, right now, what I am doing tomorrow night!" CJ said, "OH! What are you doing tomorrow night?" Deanna said, "Nothing, why?" They then had their first date; it was seven hours long, and they knew then what they had found. Seven years later, they are finally getting married! *And CJ sleeps with the piece of paper they wrote notes on together by his bedside every night.
