We’re getting married!

C.J. and Caroline met on the dating app, Tinder, in January 2017. Caroline saw C.J.'s photo and immediately swiped right before reading his profile. When he messaged her a few hours later, she thought, "Oh yes! It's that cute guy!" and went to read about him. When she saw, "Unapologetically conservative gun-enthusiast," and "No patience for political correctness," she rolled her eyes, convinced it wouldn't work. But instead of unmatching him, she started talking smack to him online. Instead of getting put-off or backing down, C.J. responded very politely and talked her into still going on a date. He was thinking that if she was truly uninterested that she would have unmatched him instead of talking at all. "Hmm... I suppose I can give you a shot at least, but don't blow it and talk about walls and trickle-down economics all night." He replied, "Excellent! I wouldn't dream of it. But I'll answer any questions you may have! Looking forward to getting together." They hit it off right away at the restaurant. Despite all of their differences and disagreements, they've been hooked since then!
