When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 15, 2025. Early responses help us plan for the celebration and ensure we can accommodate all our guests. You can submit your RSVP through this website, and we'll be sending formal invitations with additional details about 3 months before the wedding. Need to update your RSVP after submitting? No problem! Just reach out to us directly and we'll help you update your response.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! You can find our registry on Zola through the 'Registry' tab on this website. We've included a few different ways to celebrate with us. Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. However, for those who have asked, we've created a small selection of registry options: - A donation in our honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital - Contributions toward our honeymoon adventures or future home - A curated list of items we'd love to have in our home together All options can be found on our Zola registry page, accessible through the Registry tab above.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at St. James Cathedral by 11:15 AM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:30 AM with a full Catholic Mass officiated by Father Magnano. Early arrival ensures everyone can be comfortably seated before the ceremony begins. Location: St. James Cathedral 804 9th Avenue Seattle, WA 98104

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire: Formal For the Cathedral Ceremony (11:30 AM): Ladies: Formal dresses or suits that are church-appropriate (shoulders covered, modest length). Gentlemen: Suits or sport coats with dress shirts and slacks. Ties recommended. For the Reception at Admiral's House: Ladies: Formal cocktail or evening attire Gentlemen: Suits or sport coats continue to be appropriate A Note on Comfort & Weather: There will be time between the ceremony and reception for outfit adjustments if desired The reception includes both indoor and tented outdoor spaces October in Seattle can be unpredictable – we recommend: Bringing a dressy coat or wrap Comfortable yet elegant footwear for garden grounds A light raincoat or hooded jacket (just in case!) Not Appropriate: Casual attire (jeans, t-shirts) Athletic wear or sneakers

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are extending plus-ones to married couples, engaged couples, and established long-term partnerships. Your invitation will clearly indicate if a guest is included ("and Guest" or your partner's name). If you believe there's been an oversight regarding your partner, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to join in our celebration! Please note: the Admiral's House property includes areas with steep cliffs. For everyone's safety, children must be supervised by their parents/guardians at all times. While we will have these areas clearly marked, there will be no childcare staff onsite, and parents are responsible for their children's safety throughout the event.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We're delighted to be serving a family-style Italian dinner catered by Il Terrazzo Carmine. Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions as soon as possible through the RSVP form. This will help us work with the restaurant to ensure everyone can enjoy a safe and delicious meal. If you've already RSVP'd but need to update your dietary information, please contact us directly and we'll make sure your needs are accommodated.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony Parking: O'Dea High School parking lot (one block from St. James Cathedral) St. Francis Cabrini parking garage Both options are within easy walking distance to the cathedral. Reception Parking: Parking is available at the bottom of the Admiral's House property. For your convenience, we'll provide shuttle service to transport guests up the steep hill to the reception area. Please note that there is no parking available at the top of the property.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, guests will need to arrange their own transportation. Here's what you need to know: From Airport to Hotels (options): Light Rail service to downtown Seattle Taxi services Hotel shuttle services (where available) Ride-share options (Uber/Lyft) Car rental For Wedding Day: The ceremony begins at 11:30 AM at St. James Cathedral, and the reception starts at 4:30 PM at Admiral's House. Guests are responsible for their own transportation between venues during the interim period. Note: Once at Admiral's House, we will provide shuttle service from the bottom parking area up to the reception space.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be our main celebrations on Saturday, October 4th. While the rehearsal dinner is limited to the bridal party (who will receive separate invitations), we encourage our out-of-town guests to explore Seattle if you're making a long weekend of it!
