Q&A

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 25, 2026

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is semi-formal. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear dress pants with a button-down shirt or jacket, and ladies may opt for cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. As the weather may be warm, light fabrics and sundresses are perfectly appropriate. We kindly request that guests refrain from wearing jeans or overly casual attire

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to space limitations, we’re only able to include those named on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding as we look forward to an evening of relaxation and celebration with our guests

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be a full bar available for the majority of the reception. During dinner, only beer and wine will be available.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we can accommodate food allergies that are communicated well in advance.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be able to provide transportation from the Gaylord Resort to Sycamore Farms. Many of our guests will be bringing their car from either Chicago or Western North Carolina. Please note that every guest must leave Sycamore Farms by 10:30 pm at the latest

Question

Am I Invited to the Rehearsal Dinner?

Answer

We have chosen to limit our rehearsal dinner to our wedding party and closest immediate family. All those invited will be told directly. We are planning a larger activity for all of our guests on Friday night at the Gaylord.
